Your boudoir session is about more than beautiful photos! It’s a celebration of you! If you’re wanting to keep the excitement going after your photoshoot, then a delicious meal, a fun night out, or a little St. Louis shopping is a great way to do it.
Whether you’re imagining a romantic dinner for date night, cocktails with your friends, or just an entire day to yourself around the city, I’ve got you covered! I’m always happy to share my favorite recommendations with clients.
Here are some of my personal favorite St. Louis spots to eat, drink, shop, and celebrate! (In no particular order)
things to do
Saint Louis Art Museum
I imagine walking around here on my own would make me feel like my life was a romcom
City Foundry
Dining, shopping, plus a movie theater and other activities (Make sure you stop at Golden Gems)
The Gateway Arch
Even if you don’t like heights, the underground museum is really well done
Old Courthouse
The building is beautiful, the museum exhibits are well done, and it’s very close to the Arch
The Fabulous Fox
Catch a show or sign up for a private tour of the theater
Cathedral Basilica
It doesn't matter whatsoever what your religion is or is not, this is a gorgeous building
Top Golf Midtown
Take it from me, you do not need to be a golfer to have a great time at top golf
City Museum
This is one I only recommend if you’re a kid at heart and small spaces don't freak you out
places to eat (and drink)
Idol Wolf at 21c
This restaurant is beautiful
Angad Arts Hotel
There’s an art gallery and the most beautiful rooftop bar with small plates
Yellowbelly
The food and cocktails are delicious and I love walking around The Central West End afterwards for shopping and sight seeing
360 Rooftop Bar
This place is such a vibe
Vicia
This is my favorite restaurant in St. Louis, specifically the Chef’s tasting menu
Union Station
I recommend The Train Shed for dinner, dessert at The Soda Fountain, and drinks at the Great Hall
Hidden Gem
A woman-owned disco dive bar that looks like a girl’s dream exploded inside
places to shop
Plaza Frontenac
This is definitely a luxury mall, but sometimes its just fun to walk around with an iced coffee
Saint Louis Galleria
This is my main mall and the one I always go to when I’m serious about my shopping
St. Louis Premium Outlets
My favorite outlet mall, so many great brands
Cherokee Antique Row
Walking along here makes for such a fun day if the weather is nice
Historic Main Street St. Charles
Start at one end and walk all the way through, it's perfect for finding gifts
Your special day doesn’t have to end when you leave the boudoir studio! I hope these local recommendations help you make a whole day (or even a whole weekend!) out of it. Most importantly, give yourself permission to have fun and celebrate the woman you are right now. And if you’re still looking for the perfect St. Louis boudoir photographer to help you kick off your celebration, I’d love to be part of it!
